Forza 3

With Forza 3 being released last month I thought it would be a good idea to talk about why it is easily the best driving game experience that has ever been made.

Forza 3 is of course a follow up to the Forza and Forza 2 games and features over 400 cars which can all be customised built from 50 manufacturers as well as holding over 100 race track variations from across the world. The polygons put into each car have increased 10 times since the last Forza edition.

The New Bits

Apart from the obvious boost in the graphics and the amount of cars that are now in the game, there have been other parts added also. The in car driving view is a welcome add on to the game and has proved to be the best method of driving around in my case. As well as this you can have full vehicle rollovers with details on the undercarriages along with one button assisted driving. Real simulation drifting and SUVs have been added into the series too. It is quite possible that you can paint all of the cars in the game to your very own design as well as upload them onto the Forza site.

The game comes with two discs but the great thing is that you do not have to keep changing them over. The second disc is there for the reason of keeping 104 cars on it and a few extra tracks all which once installed are held on the console. The new season mode features a personal racing calendar that includes over 200 events including oval, circuit, drift, drag and timed events. Apprently no two calenders will ever be the same.

Rip-Ride Rocket

The ride is the newest coaster Universal Studios has on offer. This attraction actually allows riders to pick their own songs to listen to when they are on the ride itself. 167ft is how big the vertical lift is which actually makes it the tallest in the Orlando Area. On top of this it can have four trains running at the same time and it features six near misses and a very strange vertical loop. You will certainly be thrown around a bit on this ride which is why you should not ride unless you love roller coasters. The ride also records you whilst you are on it so you can get the entire experience, for a price and post it on Youtube or something like that.

Rock n Roller Coaster

This coaster can be found in Disney’s Hollywood studios in both Florida and France it in opened originally in 1999 in the Florida Park. This can be found next to the TOT. The coaster accelerates from 0 to 60 in just 2.8 seconds which makes it very close to being the fastest ride in the entire Walt Disney World Resort and the rider can experience 4.5g on the very fist inversion alone. This is actually more than an astronaut does on a space shuttle launch. Of course with most attractions at Disney you will have to watch a video at the start and walk into a gift shop at the end that features loads of Aerosmith products.

So there you have it really, just some of the best theme park attractions out there that feature cars as the main purpose of transportation. In reality getting a car can actually be very expensive which is why you could look out for a cheap Volkswagen Golf or look for Chrysler car lease.  Of course you could always get a smaller car and look for Fiat 500 lease.

The are so many theme park rides out there that show off the car as the thing that you have to ride. So if you are thinking about experiencing some of these rides which ones should you ride and which ones should you most certainly avoid?

The Simpsons Ride

The ride was actually opened in 2007 and was based on the show with the same now. The ride seems like it is going to be a simulation of a tame rollercoaster until Bob turns up and tries to kill everyone in revenge to what is always happening to him. The ride itself is very similar to the past Back To The Future ride that could be found here but has added 3D effects.

Test Track

This ride has to be on the list because the entire ride is based around the car itself and how it is tested. The ride actually puts you through all of the testing stages that a car must go through before it is mass produces. Riders will go through hot and cold climates, ride over bumpy surfaces and even crash into a wall before hitting speeds that Disney to not usually go up to.

Bumper Cars

This one is the classic attraction that most theme parks/ fairs will have because it is very popular with a lot of people. They are great for smashing into unsuspecting victims but you do need to be careful you do not target the younger kids.

The Land Rover LR4 took several elements of the LR3, the 2009 model, and completely redesigned them in order to help the vehicle stand up better against the competition. Improvements include a bigger engine with a faster acceleration and better handling on road.

 

On-Road Driving

While most people buy a Land Rover with the intention of going off-road from time to time, they will spend most of their time on-road with the vehicle.
